The Broomfield Center for Leadership at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm cordially invites all members of AMWA to attend a keynote presentation by AMWA Past President, Mary Guinan, MD, founding dean, School of Community Health Sciences, UNLV, on Women's Leadership in Medicine, Friday, September 28, 2012, 7 pm, Royal Park Hotel, Rochester, Michigan. The presentation is part of the Broomfield Center for Leadership Educational Speaker Series.

Dr. Janet Osuch, 1995 Bertha Van Hoosen Award winner, will also be joining in the event.

On Friday, September 28, at noon, a private luncheon at Van Hoosen House titled Mothers, Daughters, Leaders, will be held. Dr. Guinan will meet top female nursing and medical school students from Oakland University and Rochester College along with female science students from Stoney Creek High School and Van Hoosen Middle School. Crittenton Hospital Medical Center nurses and physicians will also be in attendance. They will tour AMWA founder Dr. Bertha Van Hoosen's in-home office and inspire each other in the home that nurtured Dr. Van Hoosen.
