The Kansas University School of Medicine Women in Medicine and Science Organization is pleased to announce the second annual 2012 Marjorie S. Sirridge, MD Excellence in Medicine and Science Award Honorees. This award, developed in honor of a KU School of Medicine alumnus, Dr. Sirridge, will be presented to Kim Templeton, M.D., Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Beth Levant, Ph.D., Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Therapeutics. Both Drs. Templeton and Levant manifest the professional excellence, leadership skills, and commitment to mentoring as exhibited by Dr. Sirridge throughout her distinguished career.

Dr. Templeton is a member of the AMWA Board of Directors.
