Silent Auction at the 97th Annual Meeting — Call for Donations!
Dear AMWA Volunteer Leader :
The Program Committee is pleased to announce a new fundraising initiative at the 97th Annual Meeting in Miami. A silent auction will feature donated services and goods from the exotic to the mundane. The mystery of submitting a silent bid for a “one-of-a-kind” or “hard to get” item will add fun to the meeting.
Do you or someone you know have an item that would generate interest? Examples are:
o A weekend at a cabin in the woods or on a yacht cruise
o Box tickets to a premiere concert, theater or game
o Sports or medical memorabilia
o A chef’s table at an exclusive restaurant
o A behind-the-scenes tour of a concert hall, ballet company or museum
o A photo opportunity or meet-and-greet with a celebrity
o Fine art, folk art or hand-crafted object
Imagination wanted! All proceeds will benefit AMWA.
