Photos from AMWA’s Region 7 Event!
The American Medical Women’s Association branch at the University of Missouri hosted a simulation/skills weekend March 17-18 for Region 7 members. Saturday was filled with skills labs, including intubation, venipuncture, and ABG draws including a session with a birthing mannequin that took them through various labor and delivery situations. There were panels and lectures throughout the weekend, including a “Motherhood in Medicine” panel to help you learn how to balance being a mother and a physician. It was a great way to network with other members of the region!
A special thank you to Julie Stuppy, AMWA’s Region 7 Director, who did an excellent job organizing and planning the event! Enjoy the photos of the AMWA University of Missouri Region 7 networking and educational event!
