In Memoriam: Former AMWA Executive Assistant Marie Patricia Glanz
Every year AMWA honors women who contributed to AMWA and the advancement of women in medicine with a rose ceremony. It is an AMWA tradition for medical students to present a white rose for each AMWA member that died that year. AMWA will hold the white rose ceremony at the annual meeting which will be held in Miami on April 13-15. Today, we would like to honor former AMWA Executive Assistant Marie Patricia Glanz of Alexandria, VA passed away on January 29, 2012 after a long illness.
