Women Report Pain Differently Than Men
    

     A report in the Journal of Pain studied 20 different ailments and noted that women described pain levels higher than men.  Researchers from Stanford University set out to determine how 47 common health problems affect males and females in pain scores.  Because a difference of one point in the pain score is enough to make doctors decide that a pain medication is effective it is important to know if women are enduring higher pain levels than their male counterparts.    Read a summary of the report
