Congratulations to the new medical school graduates!
AMWA Awards 2012 Glasgow-Rubin Certificates of Commendation for Academic Achievement
Dear AMWA Readers:
In May 2012, the American Medical Women’s Association congratulates women across the nation on their accomplishments in medicine. As commencement ceremonies begin we congratulate new women physicians who demonstrate academic excellence.
AMWA will award the Glasgow-Rubin Certificates of Commendation for Academic Achievement to women who graduate in the top ten percent of their medical school graduating classes. AMWA will also award a separate Certificate of Commendation for any woman who graduates first in her medical school class.
Many medical schools participate in the program with AMWA and present these certificates to women of achievement at their graduation ceremonies. AMWA receives the names of these admirable students from the administrations of participating medical schools.
To participate, medical school administrators can contact AMWA Headquarters via email at glasgow-rubin@amwa-doc.org.
