AMWA President, Dr. Gayatri Devi, indicates that with the increasing numbers of female physicians in the workforce there is still a significant amount of advocacy work that needs to be done. This includes taking additional factors into consideration.

“This means not just propelling women into higher ranks and leadership positions, but also putting our money where our mouth is, paying women their worth.”
