The Vine Trust runs the Amazon Hope Project, which provides a health service for around 100,000 patients per year to the remote communities on the Amazon River in South America, many of which have little or no access to healthcare. Because many of these Amazonian communities are inaccessible by road, the Amazon Hope medical ships travel up and down the river to provide medical and dental care.
