2011-2012 Call for Nominations to the AMWA Board of Directors

The Governance Committee is currently accepting applications for nominations to the 2011-2012 Board of Directors.  Nominations are due by August 31, 2010.  To apply, please complete the Board Nominations Application, along with a Statement of Interest and your CV.  Self nominations are welcomed and encouraged!  Nominees must be AMWA members in good standing.

Responsibilities of  Board Members:

  • Attend monthly teleconference Board Meetings and two face to face meetings per year (one in person meeting in conjunction with the Annual Meeting)

  • Make a donation throughout the year (many funds to support and there is no mandate on the amount.)

  • Become active in a Committee, Working Group or Organizational Initiative.

  • Share your passion and enthusiasm for the organization with others to help in recruitment efforts.
