Pediatric and General Diagnostic Radiologist

Dr. Kelli Cohen is a Board-Certified Pediatric and General Diagnostic Radiologist. Her professional experience includes a 10-year sojourn as Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the roles of Chief of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Ben Taub Hospital and Chief of Radiology at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research.

As teaching medical students, residents and fellows remains one of her passions, Dr. Cohen recently returned to school and was awarded a Doctoral Degree in Education where she wrote a dissertation pertaining to healing the physician-patient relationship. She has furthered her work in the humanities arena by participating in the Sacred Vocation Program at the John P. McGovern, MD Center for Health, Humanities and the Human Spirit.

She has given her time and expertise for more than 15 years to the Interprofessional Drug Education Alliance collaborating with attorneys to teach the medical and legal ramifications of drug use to elementary school students. She was President of the Houston Radiological Society and recently served as Chair of the Council of the Medical Specialty Societies on the Executive Board of the Harris County Medical Society.

Additionally Dr. Cohen has served on the Advisory Board of Child Advocates for many years. In her capacity as a radiologist and an advisory board member, she has worked diligently to identify and prevent child abuse. She is also a staunch advocate for early diagnosis and intervention for children with Autism.

Dr. Cohen feels privileged and honored to have had the opportunity to work with the remarkable staff and volunteers of many vital institutions in the community. She currently serves on several boards including the Texas Medical Association Foundation Board, Memorial-Hermann Children's Committee, Huffington Center on Aging, Jewish Family Service and the Houston Symphony.
