Harvard University | MD/MBA Candidate
National Student President
National AMWA Membership Committee Student Liaison
Women's Health Working Group Student Liaison
Linda is originally from upstate New York and graduated from Harvard University in 2009 with an honors degree in Chemistry, a secondary in Health Care Policy, and a language citation in Spanish. She is currently enrolled in the joint MD/MBA program at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School.
Linda became involved with AMWA during her first year of medical school, serving as one of the directors of the Harvard student branch and then as Region 1 Student Coordinator. In addition to her position as National Student President, she also serves as the student liaison for both the National AMWA Membership Committee and the Women's Health Working Group.
Linda firmly believes in the potential of AMWA to serve as the single greatest source of opportunities and fellowship for women in medicine. Having worked with such an amazing group of women over the past few years, Linda has been inspired by the innovative initiatives of her colleagues; it is through these inspirations that she has realized the possibilities are endless for what women physicians (both future and present!) can accomplish as an organization. She hopes you will join her in moving AMWA forward as a unique source of support for aspiring female physicians and all women in medicine.
